PBS Video / "Salmon: Running the Gauntlet" & links to Google Earth

I wanted to watch the new PBS Nature project "Salmon Running the Gauntlet" online again and found a link to it on the Save Our Wild Salmon Blog.

I have been developing some Google Earth projects related to Salmon Migration on the Columbia, Snake and Salmon Rivers and wanted to review information in this video that might be useful for the near future.  It would be interesting to apply photo overlays of historic photos of the rivers before the many hydroelectric dams were built and to incorporate new ideas about salmon recovery that are being discussed, including taking out the 4 dams on the Lower Snake River.
